Chief Justice

Hello fellow Will Ricer! My name is Albert Wei, a senior, studying Political Science. I am from West Covina, California and have a strong love of my home state, but Texas is a close second (maybe becoming first, now!!!!11!1one!!!one1!!). I love to swim, do community service, play sax and laugh... a lot. I am your Chief Justice at the best residential college in the world and I am so honored.

As your Chief Justice, I am responsible for running college court with your four other AMAZING Associate Justices. We also are charged with the responsibility of ensuring that our fellow Will Ricers uphold the alcohol policy and the student code of conduct. Some people to get to know on the Will Rice court in no particular order:

  • Vivas Kumar
  • Jonathan Myers
  • Veronica Rae Saron
  • Erica Johns

If there are issues with noise, alcohol, Rice University Police, damage or you're just hella bored on any particular day, give us a call. Please understand that we are students just as much as you are and that we have classes, social lives and sleep to which to tend. However, we want, above all else, to serve as a resource for you to make your Will Rice experience the best that it can be. Don't hesitate to call us with problems!!!! Just use your discretion when dialing us at wee hours of the morning.

I wanted to be Chief Justice because I want to give back to those that have given me so much. Coming into Will Rice as a new student, I was immediately welcomed with open arms by strong leaders and great role models. Seeing how my peers could make or break the college experience for someone was tremendously motivating. I was thusly inspired to follow in their footsteps. I'd encourage you all to find that person that inspires you to strive to be the best student/person for you. As your CJ, but more so as a fellow Will Ricer, my court and I strive to be that person(s) for you. I take so much pride in introducing myself as a Will Ricer because you guys make life so flippin' awesome. Let's keep it that way!
